Description of the problem	The fuel filter has a crack that results in leaking gasoline when the fuel tank is full. I found that there is a recall for 2011 glks already in place for this issue, but our glk was built a few months prior to those reported as affected. However, i am certain this is the same issue with our vehicle based on the description of that recall. Nhtsa id: 12v557000. If there are other similar issues with the same exact model year car, just different build dates, i believe this should be covered by the recall. However when i call dealerships with my vin they deny that recall exists.
